Carlsen Claims Title - Men's Final Review
Unseeded Kenneth Carlsen wihtstood 15 aces from No. 8 seed Max Mirnyi to claim
the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships title with a 7-5, 7-5 win. The Dane opened up the match holding serve easily and had four break points at 2-2 that Mirnyi was able to overcome.

title in Memphis by defeating No. 3 seed Meghann Shaughnessy 7-6(3), 6-2. The
19-year-old Russian got off to a slow start and was down 3-0 in the first set.

The No. 8 seed Max Mirnyi served a total of 11 aces in his 7-5, 6-3 victory over
No. 2 seed Tommy Haas. Kenneth Carlsen reached the finals with a walkover after Andy Roddick was forced
out of the tournament with a left ankle sprain he suffered during Friday’s quarterfinal win over Robby Ginepri.
