A Look at the Field
Four of the world's Top 25 players are in Memphis this week for the 2nd edition of the Kroger St Jude. Defending champion Lisa Raymond who reached the semifinals in Tokyo three weeks ago defeating world No. 8 Jelena Dokic in the quarterfinals is the No. 2 seed. World No. 20 Silvia Farina Elia heads the field as the No. 1 seed. Last year's finalist Alexandra Stevenson who fell to Lisa Raymond is a third set tie-break is back to try to take the title for 2003.
