MEMPHIS (February 17) - Anna Kournikova, who was forced to withdraw from the tournament because of a back injury, made a special trip to Memphis on Monday to pay a visit to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Russian, who flew in for an on-court ceremony, presented a check to the hospital for $30,000 during the Monday night session.

Kournikova won a skills challenge at last year's US Open and designated St. Jude as her charity.
